As with past events, The Linux Show is happy to announce that we will be broadcasting live from the floor of the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo. We will be posting an application at our web site tomorrow for vendors and dot orgs to sign up for broadcast segments. This is in the opinion of our broadcast team the single most important event for us to participate in each year. According to our IP counter, over 22,000 different people listened to our broadcast live from the Javits Center in NYC.

LinuxWorld Conference & Expo® will return to San Francisco this summer, taking place August 2-5, 2004 at the Moscone Center. Now in its sixth year, it is the world's largest and most comprehensive event focusing on Linux and open source solutions. If you are starting up a Linux Company or a west coast centered development project, you are crazy to not participate in this event. PLUS at $650.00 for a full 3 day conference pass, this is also one of the true bargains for technical conferences with quality content. TLS's own Russ Pavlicek is again a presenter wearing both his TLS hat and Senior Linux Architect for Cassatt Corporation. Russ is worth $100 of the admission fee alone. You can find registration information at the url http://www.linuxworldexpo.com/live/12/register///CC60804

At this year’s event, attendees will discover new applications to take Linux implementations to the next level and learn how it can play an even larger role in the way businesses are run. In the conference program and on the exhibit floor, attendees will learn best practices from industry experts and other technology professionals who have successfully deployed Linux for mission-critical enterprise applications.

From security concerns to integration issues, LinuxWorld’s in-depth conference program will cover the critical challenges facing companies that use Linux and open source technology. Attendees will also hear from the industry executives like Dan Frye of IBM, shaping the future of Linux during LinuxWorld’s line-up of keynote presentations. LinuxWorld also offers a unique opportunity to evaluate a variety of Linux-based solutions from a wide range of vendors – all under one roof.
