Tonight LIVE on www.thelinuxshow.com

At 6pm pst, 7pm rmt, 8pm cst, 9pm east and 1am GMT Kevin, Jeff, PJ and Doc Searls (of the Linux Journal) have a fun show lined up tonight on The Linux(r) Show!! They are back from their 3 week road trip.

In Segment One- News: As usual we will be covering the hot linux news of the week; including an update on the LPI Cert Beta Test, and Emmett Plant coming to play on TLS.

In Segment Two- LinuxFest 2000 How NOT to host a Linux Event. We have just returned from the 2nd worst event in our 25 years experience in the IT industry. Is this expo a sign of over saturation of Linux Events or just bad management? As most of us were there (including Emmett), our panel will explore the issue. We will be joined by Michael Denton the editor of Geeknews.Org and will join in a discussion of what it takes to plan a good Linux or LUG event.

In Segment Three- Not another Linux Portal??? This week we added 3 new linux portals to the already full list of existing sites. Is the movee by Atipa to stop the development of Linsight a sign that we are already over saturated with Linx Portals?

Remember tune in at 6pm pst, 7pm rmt, 8pm cst, 9pm east and 1am GMT.
